While we were in the classroom, a butterfly came out of it's crysalis and hatched. First we saw part of it's wing coming out of the crysalis and then we saw the whole butterfly come out. It was a beautiful butterfly and flew away. We loved watching part of the life cycle of a butterfly before our very eyes!

And here it is, happy and safe, feeding on the nectar in the beautiful garden.
